矮岗村位于惠州市博罗县公庄镇，是该镇所辖的行政村，行政区划代码441322104216。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：村名原写作「蔼岗」，出自村中一副对联「蔼人叶吉，岗凤和鸣」。另一说法是，此地原名「矮江」：据传有个姓江的书生个子矮小，办事公道，村里大小事都请他出面，人们便把当地叫作矮江；后来此地姓氏渐多，为求和气，去掉「江」字，改作「蔼岗」。[1]

清代归博罗县苏州巡检司辖；民国时属第六区文化乡；新中国成立后编入三区獭子乡。1958年10月，公庄人民公社下设矮岗大队；公庄区时期（1983年11月起）称矮岗乡；1986年1月撤区建镇后，成为公庄镇矮岗管理区；至1999年3月，改称矮岗村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
  • 2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
