历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：村民住在山脚，山形像狮子，两座山夹着寨岗陂，东面有寨子顶山，村名取自这些地形。[1]

清代归博罗县苏州巡检司辖；民国时属第六区文化乡；新中国成立后编入獭子乡。1958年编为人民公社的寨岗连，1986年起为寨岗管理区，1999年改为寨岗村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
  • 2020年8月，列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为丝苗米。[1]
  • 2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
