巷口村是罗阳街道下辖的行政村。村庄由东莞常平镇板石村族人分支迁来而成，最早落基在一条巷道口边，故名巷口（博雅地名网记其始建于清道光年间）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属惠州府，民国时期属惠阳县三和乡。建国后先在惠阳县潼湖区的广和乡，1956年转入青塘乡；1958年是潼湖公社的巷口管理区；1959年划归博罗县城镇人民公社，1975年属附城人民公社；1986年属罗阳镇，称巷口管理区；1999年起称巷口村民委员会。[1]
