历史沿革[edit]
清代隶博罗县典史署（万安约），民国时期编入一、二区十三保。新中国成立后先归一区附城乡，人民公社化时划归义和乡，1963年为义和公社的天上元大队；1983年11月设天上元乡，1986年1月改为管理区，1999年起沿用“义和镇天上元村”之名；2002年义和并入罗阳镇后，改隶罗阳镇，村民委员会写作“天上园”。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，天上元村成为广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
