长贵村是罗阳街道下辖的行政村，原属义和镇。清初练氏从惠东县迁来，村前地势低洼，又有一个长方形湖塘，称长塘园；清末人口增多，部分人迁到西北面小山岭边，取“富贵”之意，称岭贵园。1955年合作化时，各取两个旧名中的一字，定名长贵。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代隶博罗县典史署（石田约），民国时期编入一、二区十五保。新中国成立后先归一区附城乡，人民公社化时划归义和乡，1963年为义和公社的长贵大队；1983年11月设长贵乡，1986年1月改为管理区，1999年设村民委员会，仍属义和镇；2002年义和并入罗阳镇，随之改隶。[1][2]
