沙田社区是广东省惠州市惠阳区沙田镇的社区居委会，城乡分类为城乡结合区[1]。社区名来自沙田：这一带原称「隔水洞」，沙田水库建成之前，库区内有个小村叫「沙田肚」，水库因此得名，1961年成立人民公社时又以此取名沙田公社[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

此地在1990年至2002年设为沙田居民管理区，2002年5月起叫沙田社区居民委员会，名称沿用到现在[1]。
