历史沿革[edit]
田头在解放初属隔沥乡。1958年公社化，它与肖屋并成肖屋大队，由淡水公社管辖；1977年划入沙田公社，同时从肖屋大队独立，成田头大队。1984年废社建区时，两地又并为一乡；1989年起称田头管理区，1999年改设田头村民委员会，沿用到现在[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2017年10月，田头村列为第一批广东省卫生村[1]。
