历史沿革[edit]
沙田的建制沿革：1958年设为大队，1983年设乡政府，1987年改设村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年恢复村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村小组为刘家、郭家、沙坪、伍家、赤水、赖家、长老坑。村民以种稻为主，收入来自毛竹和禽畜养殖。[1]
