地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村前原有一条小河绕过村门，最初叫湾村，后来写成板村，沿用至今。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年，这一带分属和潭、高贵两个村；1960年体制下放时，两处各划出一部分，合成板村大队。1983年称板村乡，1986年起称农村管理区，1999年设村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，板被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」；2021年12月，获「广东省卫生村」称号（广东省爱卫会，2021年12月）。[1]
