金桔村是广东省惠州市惠阳区沙田镇东南部的行政村，南面与大亚湾畔的霞涌镇相邻，群山环绕，北边是沙田水库，是革命老区[1]。村名由「金坑片」与「桔塱片」合为一村、各取一字而来[2]。村内出产桔塱茶，并有世外梅园，村域属金桔市级自然保护区[1][3][4]。
历史沿革[edit]
解放初期，此地同白花、莆田合在一起，称惠阳十二区莆田。1958年设金桔大队，其后依次改为金桔乡（1984年）、金桔管理区（1988年），1999年成为金桔村民委员会[2]。
地理环境[edit]
据博雅地名网的村情介绍，全村分8个村民小组，共335户1250人；耕地合2300亩，水田占1500亩，其余800亩为旱地；森林覆盖率达到80%[1]。沙田水库在村境内，建于1959年至1962年，是淡水河上游的中型水库[5]。
经济[edit]
村里种柑桔、荔枝、龙眼和茶叶，果树和茶树共约1600亩[1]。桔塱茶已有三百多年的种植历史，产地在海拔约700米的三坑顶、双鹰顶一带；2025年，沙田桔塱茶的制作技艺被列为惠阳区第六批区级非遗代表性项目[3]。
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的世外梅园是一处生态旅游度假区，建在金桔自然保护区内，面积13000余亩，分为八个功能区[4][6]。保护区总面积2221.5公顷[6]。
