围仔村是惠州市惠城区汝湖镇的行政村，旧名新福围。[1]

村情称，杨、陈两姓先人先到此地安家，后来从福建经梅州兴宁一带迁来的刘姓也在此落户，新屋盖在老屋四周，于是改称围仔。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，新福围属东湖乡，当时辖六个自然村。1958年与长湖（今上围村、下围村一带）合并成立共营村。1962年归东湖大队，辖新福围、古仙、房村、黄村四个自然村，办事点设在新福围。1989年设管理区，1999年改设村民委员会。[1]
