白鹭湖社区是惠州市惠城区汝湖镇的一个社区，因白鹭湖而得名，2015年经汝湖镇人民政府申请、惠城区人民政府批准设立。[1]

白鹭湖原叫角洞水库，在天然湖的基础上兴修水利而成，每年有候鸟来此越冬，湖面常见成群白鹭。[1]

地理环境[edit]

白鹭湖建成于1956年，水面2.66平方千米，湖区面积约4000亩，地势西高东低，西北侧的大良山把湖区与外界隔开。湖曾长期是惠州市生活饮用水地表水源一级保护区。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

2020年底，白鹭湖景区评为国家3A级旅游景区；2007年起，湖畔开发为休闲居住区，规划定位为珠三角东岸的生态休闲旅游度假目的地。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，社区被确定为2023年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
