下灶村委会在白土镇偏北，距圩镇约4500米，坐落在宋隆河边，紧靠广肇高速公路，博雅地名网载人口约2000人，分两个村民小组。[1]

村内有四个姓氏，鱼塘约320亩是主要收入来源，富余劳动力到白土的制衣、针织、陶瓷等厂务工或外出打工。2019年9月，下灶村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后先归宋隆六乡，1956年立下灶乡，次年转入三和乡，1958年为金龙公社下灶大队，次年入白土公社。其与洲龙的分合同洲龙村条目所记相同：1964年合并，1974年分设，1983年再并为下灶乡，1984年分出洲龙，1987年改村委会，1989年改设管理区，1998年重设村委会。[2]
