长坑社区在白土镇中部，省道肇江公路旁，距肇庆市区15公里，辖19个村民小组；博雅地名网载有人口3305人、822户。2020年8月列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，品种为种鹅。[1]
经济[edit]
村域3200亩，含耕地1894亩。据介绍，佛山石湾的一家陶瓷厂落户此地，又有铸造厂6家、针织服装厂2家、瓦厂2家、五金加工厂5家和一家大型粮食加工厂相继开办。农业方面水田种稻、菜、果，并养鱼虾和种鹅。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年属高要第七区思福乡；1958年为金龙公社长坑大队，次年划入白土公社。1983年改乡，1987年设村委会，1989年改设管理区，1998年重设村委会，2013年改为居委会。[2]
