沿塱村在白土镇以南，与回龙、蛟塘两镇交界，离白土圩镇2公里，离宋隆工业园仅600米，肇江公路横贯村中。博雅地名网载人口3900多人，耕地3500多亩，称之为镇上较大的村。[1]

村分东、南、西、北四个社，共二十个村民小组，六个姓氏相对集中居住。村中有牌坊一座、小学一所、公厕五间，自来水已入户，村道和巷道已硬底化并装有路灯。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前叫沿塱贫协会，1952年归七区均安乡管辖，1956年起改称沿塱乡，1958年为金龙公社沿塱大队，次年入白土公社。1983年改乡，1987年设村委会，1989年改设管理区，1998年重设村民委员会。[2]
