中岗社区紧靠白土镇的新旧圩镇，博雅地名网载有人口1340人、农户335户，辖7个村民小组。2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
经济[edit]
据介绍，社区一年的集体经济收入约150万元，主要来自铺位出租和鱼塘发包，人均纯收入5500元。肇江公路旁新建商业铺位五十多间，使全村铺位增至125间；另改造低产鱼塘180亩，作优质养殖基地，并引进了几家外来企业。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年中岗与蝉坑二村同属白安乡，新村则归雅瑶乡。1958年建中岗大队，隶金龙公社，次年改属白土公社。1973年中岗大队分出中岗、新村、蝉坑三个大队，1983年三者合称中岗乡，1987年撤乡设村委会，1989年改设管理区，1998年又设村委会，2013年村委会改为居委会。[2]
