冷水一村在白土镇以南3公里，博雅地名网载有常住人口3637人、939户，分16个村民小组。[1]
概况[edit]
耕地2680亩，山地约4200亩，主要作物为水稻、花生和瓜菜；经济林三千多亩，各村民小组的鱼塘合计一千多亩。村内有白土镇通来的水泥路、环村路，冷水小学（学生六百多人），一处集市和新建的文化娱乐中心。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初归高要七区均安乡，1952年划入冷水乡，1958年立冷水一大队，隶金龙公社。1959年冷水一、二两个大队合并为冷水大队，1961年重新分设；1983年改乡，1987年设村委会，1989年改设冷水一管理区，1998年重设村委会。[2]
