南岗村在白土镇中心以南数百米，临321国道（肇江公路），博雅地名网载全村人口2200人，水稻种植约1400多亩。[1]

村委会靠出租厂房、闲置土地和铺位增加收入，支持村民办厂。据介绍，每年用于减免村民医保费、排灌费、水利费及分红的款项达四十多万元。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初属高要第七区白安乡；1958年成立南岗大队，隶金龙公社，次年入白土公社。1963年与东岸大队合并，1974年分开；1983年合并改设南岗乡，1987年分设东岸、南岗两个村委会，1989年改设管理区，1998年重设村委会。[2]
