据介绍，山地可种水果和桉树，水田可种优质水稻、花生、蔬菜，鱼塘养四大家鱼和优质鱼虾，塘基还可养猪和禽类。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前属高要第三区东安乡，名富科群星社；1950年归第七区，1958年为金龙公社富科大队，次年入白土公社。1983年改乡，1987年设村委会，1989年改设管理区，1998年重设村委会。[2]
