民国后期归官桥乡；1952年土地改革时另设业村乡；1958年公社化时称上村大队，1962年又作业村大队。1983年为业村乡，1987年2月起设村民委员会，1989年改称业村管理区办事处，1999年起称上村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
