历史沿革[edit]
1937至1949年间属官桥乡；1952年土地改革时编为山口乡；1958年入官桥公社，设六堆、大埇口两个生产队，1962年归并成六堆大队。1983年称六堆乡，1987年2月起为村民委员会，1989年改叫管理区办事处，1999年改回村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
