历史沿革[edit]
据《陈氏宗亲族谱》，陈忠的第三子陈昂在宋徽宗十五年从东莞七都迁来定居，村由此而立。[2] 1951年，上村从水贝村分出，得名上村，属宝安县四区；1963年2月公明公社合并大队，上村大队属公明公社。[2] 1993年1月属宝安区公明镇，2004年7月改村委会为社区居委会。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网记，社区管辖面积7.93平方千米，下设十个村民小组，总人口约6.8万人，常住户籍人口1546人、622户；有工厂企业301家、商户569间，辖区内有公明第二小学一所。[1][3] 2022年8月，上村入选第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[1]
文化[edit]
社区仙庄路上建有陈仙姑祠。陈仙姑的事迹相传发生在清咸丰年间，传说她行医送药、助人为乐；「陈仙姑的故事」列入深圳市第一批非物质文化遗产名录，坊间称她为「深圳的妈祖」。[3] 祠已有一百多年历史，20世纪70年代被毁，2004年募捐重建，用地约1000平方米。[4]
著名的公明老墟在上村与合水口村的交界处，街边的公明烧鹅创始人陈汝顺是水贝上村人。[5] 地铁13号线北延线设有上村站。[6]
