历史沿革[edit]
民国后期属官桥乡，1952年土地改革时仍在官桥乡；1958年随官桥公社，内有鸟灌塘、螺角两个大队，1962年合为旺竹山大队。1983年为旺竹山乡，1987年改称村民委员会，1989年称管理区办事处，1999年起又称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
姚守辙墓位于旺竹山村委会辖区的大塘锦碑蛇岭，为明代古墓葬，属化州市第四批县级文物保护单位。[1]
