2019年9月，青山村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

青山一带在1958年编为生产大队，1983年改称乡，1987年称村民委员会，1989年一度改称管理区，1999年重新定为村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]据村情材料，此地山多树多，一片青山绿水，因而得名。[1]

经济[edit]

村民种北运菜、玉米和花生，并养鸡、养鱼；水稻也是主要作物，荔枝、龙眼是特色收入。据村情材料，上一年全村经济总收入为480万元。[1]
