青山村在汕头市潮阳区西胪镇小北山丘陵区，在二战时期属革命老区，面积5.183平方千米，有6986人、1370户[1]。
地名与历史[edit]
原名大园埔，明嘉靖年间（1522—1566年）建村。1958年与相邻的长福、牛民等自然村合并，称大福民乡，公社化初期一度叫青山农场；1972年与长福村拆分，定名青山农业生产大队，1984年改乡，1999年设村委会。村名取山青水秀之意[1][2]。
经济[edit]
山地6700亩、耕地800亩，人多地少，以耕山种果为主，主要产品有杨梅、橄榄、竹笋；2013年村集体收入98.2万元，农民年人均收入6549元[1]。
