潭段村属广东省茂名市茂南区羊角镇，是该镇的行政村之一，位于镇域东部。[1]据博雅地名网所载村情，辖4个村民小组，在册486户、2104人，总面积1平方千米，耕地640亩（数据未注明年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]
最早见于1953年设立的潭段乡；1958年改作生产大队，至1983年又改回乡，1987年起称村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，直到1999年才重新使用村民委员会这一名称，延续到现在。[1]
经济[edit]
村里发展北运菜和甜玉米，并发展养殖业；作物还有花生和四季豆。据村情材料，上一年全村经济总收入为500万元。[1]
