历史沿革[edit]
1961年，田心乡一分为三，横岭是其中新设的生产大队；其后依次改为横岭乡（1983年）、村民委员会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1999年又定为村民委员会，延续至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村里以北运菜和花生为主要作物，另养殖坡地蛋鸭；荔枝与「罗飞鱼」是村情材料列出的特色收入。上一年全村经济总收入为650万元。[1]
