新圩是湛江市麻章区湖光镇的社区，居于城乡结合地带，名称来自所在的新圩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里1983年归新圩乡管理；1987年从中分出，设新圩居民委员会；1990年一度隶属新联管理区；1999年再次分设新圩居民委员会；2009年改称新圩社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

  • 2019年9月，新圩社区列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
