旧县村是湛江市麻章区湖光镇的行政村，村名来自古县城旧址；百度百科称这里曾是隋、唐、宋三朝的县治。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年设旧县乡，1958年改称旧县大队；1983年旧县与外坡两个大队合并，仍叫旧县乡；1987年二者分开，旧县设村民委员会；1990年改称旧县管理区；1998年8月又恢复为村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
古县城旧址[edit]
据百度百科，旧县村建在古县城的旧址上，所在地在隋、唐、宋三个朝代做过县治，前后共382年。[2]《中国城市报》2023年10月的报道称之为千年古村落，说村里保存着一片完整的古屋建筑群，沿「湖光乡韵」乡村振兴示范带一线另有古城遗址。[3]
村里设有广东海洋大学与麻章区共建的「百千万工程」服务站；该校的学院分别与示范带上的5个行政村结对共建。[3]
人口与产业[edit]
百度百科记旧县村有8000多人、耕地4500多亩，说雷州话；农业以观赏树、花卉、速生经济林为主，另有水产养殖。[2]（该条目未注明数据年份）
