赤忏村是湛江市麻章区湖光镇的行政村，1958年设赤忏大队，1987年起独立设村民委员会。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年设赤忏大队；1983年并入新圩乡，同乡的还有新联、柳畔、体村、金兴、料村；1987年分出，设赤忏村民委员会；1990年改称赤忏管理区；1999年恢复村民委员会之名，沿用至今。[1]
