辖内一个村庄四面溪水环绕、桥多水多，称桥溪村，村委会以这个自然村命名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代归登名都，民国时期属第九区六姓乡，新中国成立后属七区桥溪乡，1955年属水口区。1961年属沙冈公社，称桥溪大队，1963年划归水口公社。1984年改称桥溪乡人民政府，1989年称桥溪管理区；1993年属沙冈区，2005年起归水口镇管辖，村级组织自1999年起称桥溪村桥溪村民委员会。[1]
