村委会辖内有座宝峰山，「峰」与「锋」同音，村名写作宝锋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代归登名都，民国时期属第九区六姓乡，新中国成立后属七区六姓乡；1955年属水口区，1961年属水口公社，1981年设宝锋大队。1984年改称宝锋乡人民政府，1989年称宝锋管理区，1993年起属开平市水口镇，1999年定名宝锋村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

水口沙冈工业园在国道325线以北，位于风采、宝锋两个村委会辖内，距开平市区约6公里，已开发工业用地约3000亩，园内企业40多家（2024年4月的介绍）。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，宝锋村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
