大岗村位于开平市月山镇，村民委员会辖16个村民小组，登记人口4163人、1151户，党员78人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自辖区内一座建有八角楼的圆形山岗，当地人称“大岗”。清代隶开平县古博都，民国年间划归第十区大岗乡，1955年属月山区大岗乡，1963年为月山公社大岗大队，1984年改乡人民政府，1989年改管理区；1993年撤县设市后归开平市月山镇，到1999年定名大岗村民委员会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

辖区耕地2319亩，其中水田1916亩、旱地401亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月，大岗村获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予的第一批广东省卫生村称号；2019年9月进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]镇政府的介绍还提到，大岗象贤村已创建为绿化美化乡村。[2]
