村情材料载，全村427户、1567人，耕地3893亩。[1] 2019年9月，村在2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单之列；2026年1月入选「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
历史沿革与地名[edit]
1949年以前隶高要县第四区；1953年属第九区三八乡，1955年2月属甫草乡，1957年3月单立江溪乡，1959年7月起为永安人民公社的江溪大队。1983年4月改江溪乡，1986年改江溪村，1998年10月改称村民委员会。[2]
