大岗村是乳源瑶族自治县大桥镇的行政村，村委会驻地在镇域东北部，与镇政府驻地相距5公里，到县城40公里。村下设18个自然村，共416户、2555人。[1]村名的来历：这里原有大富、长冲、岗头三个大队，1988年合并，各取一字，称大岗。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国之初这里是大岗乡，1958年成为大岗大队；大岗乡政府成立于1983年，三年后改称大岗村委会，1989年又叫管理区，1998年恢复村委会之名，此后未变。[1]
经济[edit]
该村3603亩耕地、26344.5亩山林，种植以黄烟、水稻、玉米、黄豆；2008年村民人均年收入为3152元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2022年10月被广东省农业农村厅认定为「2022年广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」（岗梅）。[1]
