历史沿革[edit]
村子明代建立，原名严坑村，因严氏人在此开村得名。明朝时，新会学者陈白沙应屈大均的祖父屈群力之请，到村中设帐授徒，后人思念他的德泽，把村名改作思贤，取自《论语·里仁》中「见贤思齐」一语。1987年设立思贤村民委员会。[1][2]
人口与经济[edit]
全村9个村民小组，567户，户籍人口1537人，耕地约1600亩；村集体收入以土地承包款为主，农业主要种植花卉和水果。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
屈大均墓在宝珠岗，1989年6月由广东省人民政府公布，属第三批省级文物保护单位。[3]思贤涌的河堤上有82株百年荔枝古树，已列入番禺区古树名木保护名录；村子2023年入选《广州市地名保护名录（第一批）》。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年和2022年，思贤村先后进入淘宝村名单；2024年11月入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[1]
