逢简村是杏坛镇北部的行政村，在镇中心城区北约4公里，占地5.22平方千米，下设16个村民小组，户籍人口5541人[1]。村中的逢简水乡为国家3A级旅游景区，有“广东小周庄”之称[2]。村名原作逄简，后“逄”字演变为“逢”[1]。2017年获第五届全国文明村镇称号[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，逢简是顺德较早有人聚居的地方，自西汉就有人生息，到唐代已成村落；南宋嘉定年间之前，已有先民迁入[2]。明代是丝绸产地，清末丝织业最盛时称“小广州”[2]。1950年属保良乡，随后1954年成立逢简乡，其后1958年改称大队，之后1987年改称逢简村，再后2001年改名逢简村委会[1]。

地理环境[edit]

水乡位于锦鲤江畔，据百度百科，景区水道达28公里，环村居的水道有十多公里[2]。

经济[edit]

逢简水乡2005年列入佛山市“十一五”规划的重点旅游资源项目，并跻身顺德新十景；接着2015年定为国家3A级旅游景区；随后2021年2月被评为「第三批广东省文化和旅游融合发展示范区」[3]。村内有商铺200多家、民宿18间[2]。2019年7月入选第一批全国乡村旅游重点村；其后2020年9月被农业农村部推介为中国美丽休闲乡村；之后2016年12月入选第四批美丽宜居村庄示范名单；2020至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单；再后2024年8月列入「佛山市“百千万工程”第二批典型镇村」，接着2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

刘氏大宗祠在村根大街，堂号追远堂，明永乐十三年（1415年）始建，明天启年间扩建，清嘉庆年间和2002年重修，占地1900多平方米，随后2008年11月公布为第五批广东省文物保护单位[4]。明远桥始建于宋代，为广东省文物保护单位；巨济桥为三孔石拱桥，民国十八年（1929年）重建，其后2006年10月列为第四批佛山市文物保护单位[2][5]。金鳌桥又名玉蝀桥，清康熙三十六年（1697年）进士刘云汉建，单孔石拱，与巨济桥同批列为佛山市文物保护单位[5]。和之梁公祠建于清光绪年间，历时30年才成，占地近900平方米，是顺德区文物保护单位[6]。宋参政李公祠在塘头街，为纪念迁居逢简的始祖李仕修而建，是顺德晚清祠堂的代表作之一[5][2]。觉妙净院始建于咸丰二年（1852年），原名胜乐庵[5]。快懂百科称村内另有大小祠堂70多座[3]。
