良村在佛山市顺德区乐从镇东端，距镇区约7公里，与北滘、勒流两镇街相邻，面积约2.08平方千米，辖7个自然村；清代七乡蟠龙水闸就在村旁河涌口[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

相传南宋咸淳九年至十年（1273至1274年）南雄珠玑巷事件后，罗树贵一行中约90人到乐从避难，部分人在此建村。当时村里有何、冼、谭、罗、吴、马等姓，唯独没有姓梁的，俗话说“无粮不成村”，于是借同音字定名为“良”[1]。民国到新中国成立初期属同乐乡，1952年划入劳良乡，1958年设良村大队，1983年起称良村乡，1987年起称良村，1989年起叫管理区，1998年改为村委会[1]。

经济与人口[edit]

村情材料记全村532户、常住1839人；工业区340亩，入驻66家私营和个体企业，行业有钢材加工、床上用品、喷塑、电机、家具、塑胶；农业区1600亩，其中鱼塘1100多亩，主要养四大家鱼、加州鲈、鳗鱼和桂花鱼[2]。2009年村委会财政收入330万元，工农业产值6.7亿元，股份社每股分红750元[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

七乡蟠龙水闸在良村河涌口，建于清道光二十八年（1848年），为使良村、高填、莘填、小劳村、道教、大罗、路州这七个村落不受水淹而建，故称七乡；闸为三孔，长39米，宽6.1米，闸墩用麻石砌成，百度百科称它是顺德规模较大的清代水闸[3]。
