历史沿革[edit]
民国初年至1951年底属荷塘乡；1951年6月至1952年秋属建政乡，此后到1957年属三良乡；1958年归外海公社三良管理区；1961年划入荷塘公社，设良村大队；其后依次改称良村乡（1984年）、良村村委会（1987年）、良村管理区（1988年），1999年再叫村委会；2002年随荷塘镇划归蓬江区。[1]
人口民族[edit]
设8个村民小组，农业人口2216人，居民约1500人，外来人口1000多人；耕地现存约800亩。[2]
文化[edit]
村内有三良学校，设小学部和荷塘中学的部分教学点，在校学生约1265人；设有三良文化中心，并与各地容氏宗亲联系，成立了容氏宗亲联谊会。[2]2008年获江门市、广东省卫生村称号；2026年1月，村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1][2]
