东平社区在佛山市顺德区乐从镇北部，2017年8月经顺德区政府批准增设居民委员会，辖区内有佛山世纪莲体育中心、佛山市图书馆等设施[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区居委会设立于2017年8月，是乐从镇的第25个村居、顺德区第205个村居，名称沿用至今[1]。

地理与设施[edit]

辖区以百合道、富华路、汾江南路和东平河为四至，约5平方千米，设东区、南区、西区、中区四个居民小组，常住人口约2万，其中户籍人口3350人[1]。区内有保利东湾、依云水岸等住宅小区，较大的公共设施有佛山世纪莲体育中心、佛山市图书馆、青少年文化宫、佛山新闻中心，还有东平小学[1]。
