新城社区是佛山市顺德区勒流街道的社区，位于街道东南面，毗邻街道办事处，辖区面积5.64平方千米，由锦丰、联结、新埠三个管理区合并而成。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1998年6月28日，依据当时顺德市深化农村体制改革的精神，勒流镇的新埠、锦丰、联结三个管理区办事处合并为新城管理区办事处；同年10月管理区办事处撤销，设新城村委会；2001年改制为居委会。[1][2]

社区概况[edit]

社区常住1651户，计6700人，外来务工者约25000人，三个股份合作经济社（联结、锦丰、新埠）共分17个居民小组，区内有一所小学、三所幼儿园。[2]介绍还称，辖区耕地3200多亩，设5个工业开发区，企业150多家；2014年社区被街道评为“尊师重教”先进单位。[2]
