历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网记，约在清乾隆年间，林、何两姓人开村，取两姓的谐音定名“稔海”；百度百科则称村落是在明代景泰三年（1452）前后形成的。[1][3]1950年隶属闾乡，1958年设大队，其后改乡、改村、改管理区，2000年定名稔海村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网转载的介绍，全村现有耕地4500多亩，2014年常住1052户共4622人，周、梁、伍、洪、罗是人数较多的姓，建有周、梁、伍、洪四家祠堂。[2]20世纪90年代村里大力发展水产养殖，鳗鱼养殖尤盛；2011年起将翁花沙一带两千多亩农田连片对外发包，每股年分红由400至500元升到5000至6000元。[2]
百度百科记，村里1983年开始试养鳗鱼，2018年得到“中国鳗鱼之村”的称号；到2023年，包括外延基地在内的鳗鱼养殖面积超过2.5万亩，年产量2.3万吨。[3]
荣誉[edit]
因鳗鱼产业，稔海村2020年8月位列首批省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，2021年10月被农业农村部认定为全国一村一品示范村镇（第十一批），2023年3月又被农业农村部推介为2022年产值过亿元的全国乡村特色产业村。[1]
