历史沿革[edit]
1952年至1956年自成小乡；1957年建罗欧、佛径、奇石三个农业社，次年并入小塘红星大社。[1]1961年一分为三，三个大队即佛径、罗欧、奇石；1963年再合成佛径大队，至1966年易名新境大队。[1]乡政府成立于1983年，村民委员会设于1987年，2005年起归狮山镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
据百度百科，村先后获评南海区“十好”和谐文明村（2008年）、民主法治村（2009年）、四星级健康村（2011年），并在2020年至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单。[2]
