历史沿革[edit]
民国时归狮山乡管，1954年10月单设狮西乡；1956年的农业社名为狮西群光，公社化后为狮西大队（1958年）。[1]此后，乡政府成立于1983年，村民委员会设于1987年，2005年起归属狮山镇。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据百度百科，村域面积9.31平方千米，户籍人口4475人；有鱼塘约1494亩，村集体经济2010年的纯收入为2549万元。[2]2022年10月列入淘宝村名单。[1]
