驿园社区位于佛山市南海区狮山镇官窑城区。名称取自辖区内一条古驿道，传说是书生进京赶考的必经之路。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
官窑城区1958年成立，设一个居委会；1985年分为一、二居委，1991年6月添设三居委，1997年5月三个居委合并为城区办事处。2002年6月起建设社区，官窑大道与光明路为分界，路西是驿园社区，路东是凤源社区。2012年5月两社区合并为驿园社区居民委员会。[2]
社区概况[edit]
驿园社区2002年8月成立党支部，2010年提升为党总支。辖区内有6个商住小区和5个半封闭小区。社区还拿到过佛山市特色文明社区、广东省“六好”平安和谐社区的称号。[3]
