务庄社区在佛山市南海区狮山镇，原为罗村街道西部的务庄村，辖区面积6.35平方公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，务庄分属雾岗、庄步两乡，同归南海县黄鼎司的兴贤堡。1953年3月划入十一区，立务庄乡；1957年4月并入罗村乡，成立务庄农业生产合作社；1958年10月起先后属幸福、罗村人民公社，称务庄大队。1983年11月撤销公社，乡政府成立；1987年2月归罗村镇，为务庄村民委员会。2011年“村改居”，改设居民委员会，2013年划归狮山镇。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

社区有9个居民小组（幸福、穗丰、大丰田、小丰田、雄星、东星、荣星各一，庄步分梁、林两组），另有工业区。户籍1458户，常住4257人，外来者9821人。[2]曾获“南海区民主法治村”“南海区四星级健康村”等称号。2026年3月，社区被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村」。[2][3]
