谭边社区是佛山市南海区狮山镇辖下的社区，原为大沥镇谭边村，2013年区划调整后归狮山镇。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期谭边属大圃堡。1963年自大圃公社并入大沥公社，称谭边大队；1983年设谭边乡人民政府，1987年改为村民委员会，1989年称管理区，1997年复称村民委员会。2011年“村改居”设居民委员会；2013年南海区调整区域，谭边居委会归并入狮山镇。[1]
经济与概况[edit]
据博雅地名网转录的村情，谭边总面积2.62平方公里，下辖10个村民小组，常住880户2764人。村里曾获佛山市无毒社区、广东省农业示范基地等称号，农业以“大顶”苦瓜和蔬菜为主，工业以铝材、五金、食品为主；2009年农村经济总收入6.1亿元。[2]
