历史沿革[edit]
狮城居委会于2003年成立，这一地名使用至今。[1] 2005年，狮山街道、松岗镇、官窑镇、小塘镇合并为狮山镇，狮城社区属新镇所辖。[2]
经济[edit]
社区以住宅小区为主，主要的住宅区有依云小镇、中恒海晖城、穆天子山庄、俊景花园等。[1] 据百度百科，狮山镇的行政、金融、商业机构集中在这一带，辖内有和信广场、腾大广场等商业体。[2]
文化[edit]
南海大学城位于本社区，博雅地名网称区内有大学4所，另有南海信息职业技术学院，以及幼儿园2所、小学2所、初中2所、高中1所。[1] 社区实行党支部、楼长、业委会、物管、社工五方联动的管理办法，2023年获评南海区「社区教育先进集体」。[2]
