下岱美村是汕头市澄海区溪南镇的行政村，在溪南镇与莲上镇交界处，距澄海城区约8公里，324国道由西侧纵贯村域。[1][3] 村名中的「岱美」由「埭尾」雅化而来，岱美分三个自然村，此村在南部，故称下岱美。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

关于建村，博雅地名网有两种说法：村名由来一栏作明建文元年（1399年）上岱美陈氏迁此定居，历史沿革一栏作南宋嘉熙元年（1237年）洪氏到此，以耕田、放牧为业。[1][2] 下岱美最初隶海阳县苏湾都，成化十三年（1477年）改隶饶平县，到嘉靖四十二年（1563年）澄海置县时才改隶澄海县；清嘉庆年间与埭头正式分称。[2] 1953年设下岱美村，属岱美乡，1959年设生产大队，1986年11月设下岱美村，1998年9月起沿用。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

2009年底全村1205户、4988人，总面积约2583亩，分6个连片；国道以西是溪南莲南工业区的下岱工业小区，住宅东侧有省无害化蔬菜生产示范基地，七成村民务农。[3] 下岱美村在2020年、2021年、2022年的淘宝村名单上都有名。[1]
