内厝村是汕头市澄海区溪南镇的行政村，在韩江支流南岸，324国道与金鸿公路之间，南美路穿村而过。[1] 原为南北走向的大沙陇，明天顺六年（1462年）有蚁姓人迁居，因在沙陇背海的西侧，称「内蚁」，邻近余姓居住处称「余厝」，1959年银南乡分为四村时，内蚁与余厝合称内厝。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
内厝最初隶海阳县苏湾都，成化十三年（1477年）改隶饶平县，到嘉靖四十二年（1563年）澄海置县时才改隶澄海县。[2] 1921年撤都设区，属银砂乡；1953年银砂乡分为银北、银南二乡，内厝与弓兜、外蚁、口厝合称银南乡。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
村域1350亩，住宅占311亩；农业户730户共2844人，居民户49户共67人；2009年人均纯收入4722元，属纯农经济。[1] 内厝村在2022年的淘宝村名单上有名，也多次被澄海区评为文明村。[1]
